Abstract This paper aims to create a list of possible shipyards and ports located within Spanish territory with the capability to build offshore solar platforms and the ability to store, prepare and move these structures once built, respectively. As such, a set of characteristics will be identified with each port and shipyard that will help recognize which is more suitable for any given scenario of installation site and platform. This will assist future projects in its development as a guiding resource that will help attract and facilitate the growth of this industry in Spanish marine territory. Key words: Port; Shipyard; Photovoltaic; Solar; Offshore; Energy
