Abstract
The paper examines the impact of the new network tariff system on end users utilizing green transition technologies in Slovenia. Using 15-minute electricity consumption measurements, the current situation was analyzed. Solar radiation data was used to estimate the expected electricity production from a photovoltaic system. Additionally, the influence of battery storage on grid electricity consumption was considered. The final results present the consumer’s monthly electricity costs under three different scenarios: the current situation, with a photovoltaic system, and with a photovoltaic system and battery storage. This paper focuses on optimisation of energy gains for various types of supplementary installed optical structures on photovoltaic modules. The project is based on real measurements using modified Flash Tester Unit and theoretical calculations based on modified equations describing the intensity of incident rays.
